Tilzo

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 22, 2026

Tilzo (“the Game”, “we”, “our”) is published by Codenova Tech. We built Tilzo as a frontend-only mobile game — meaning your gameplay runs entirely on your device. We collect only what we need to keep the Game stable, monetized, and improving. This policy explains what is collected, how it is used, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We do not require an account, email address, phone number, or any form of sign-up to play. The data the Game touches falls into the following categories:

  • On-device gameplay data. Your coins, progress, unlocked themes, daily-challenge state, settings, and language preference live in storage on your device. They are not uploaded to us.
  • Crash and diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics). If the Game crashes, we receive anonymized stack traces, device model, OS version, and the build of the Game so we can fix it.
  • Aggregate analytics (Firebase Analytics). Things like which levels and modes are played most, average session length, and feature usage. Identifiers are reset-able and anonymous.
  • Push notification token (Firebase Messaging) only if you grant notification permission. Used to remind you of streaks and new features.
  • Advertising identifiers. Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) serves the banner, interstitial, rewarded, and native ads that keep Tilzo free. AdMob also runs a bidding auction in which Unity Ads and Meta Audience Networkmay compete to fill a slot; when they do, they receive the ad request together with limited device and advertising identifiers. Ad content is capped at a teen (“T”) rating, which excludes mature-audience inventory. On iOS you are shown Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; your advertising identifier (IDFA) is only used for tracking if you allow it. In the EEA and UK we ask for consent before ads load, and ads are served non-personalized if you decline. You can reset or limit ad identifiers in your device settings at any time.
  • Session analytics (Microsoft Clarity). We record how the Game is used — screens visited, taps and gestures, session length, and diagnostic tags such as the level being played — so we can find where players get stuck or hit bugs. This covers in-game interaction only; it does not capture keystrokes, payment details, or anything outside Tilzo. Clarity starts only after consent has resolved, and a player who declines analytics consent is never recorded.
  • Purchase receipts processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. We see only what their SDKs return: product ID, transaction ID, and validation status. We never see card numbers.

2. How we use it

  • To keep the Game running smoothly and crash-free.
  • To understand which features players actually enjoy and prioritise improvements.
  • To process in-app purchases through Apple or Google.
  • To show ads that fund the free-to-play model. Ads are served by Google Mobile Ads, with Unity Ads and Meta Audience Network bidding through it.
  • To find and fix the places where players get stuck, using recorded session analytics.
  • To respond to support requests when you contact us.

3. Children and age rating

Tilzo is rated for a general, all-ages audience, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them (or from anyone below the equivalent local age). Because younger players may install it, we cap ad content at a teen (“T”) rating, which excludes mature-audience inventory such as gambling, dating, and alcohol advertising. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

4. Third-party services

The Game integrates with the following third parties, each governed by their own privacy policy:

  • Google Firebase — Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Remote Config.
  • Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) — banner, interstitial, rewarded, and native advertising.
  • Unity Ads — bidding ad network, through AdMob mediation.
  • Meta Audience Network — bidding ad network, through AdMob mediation.
  • Microsoft Clarity — session analytics and interaction recording.
  • Apple App Store — iOS distribution and in-app purchases.
  • Google Play — Android distribution and in-app purchases.

5. Data retention

Crash and analytics data is retained by our processors for a limited period and then aggregated. Gameplay state lives on your device until you uninstall the Game or clear app data — uninstalling deletes everything.

6. Your rights

Depending on your region (GDPR, CCPA, India DPDP, etc.), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, opt out of targeted advertising, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can exercise these rights by emailing us — see contact below.

7. Security

We use industry-standard practices for the limited data we handle. However, no transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to keep your device OS up to date.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Game evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted inside the Game.
